So, my aviation safety story goes like this. Some years ago, I decided to get more involved in the FAA Safety Seminars. Thus, I began attending all the events I could find in the Central Florida region. I attended  Dr. Robert Breux’s seminars at the Orlando Executive airport on the second Thursday of each month, the IMC Club with Brent Moran & his wife Martha at Sanford airport on the third Monday of each month (these seminars were initially started by the late  Ron Timmermans, Lead FAASTeam representative in that area and National Flight Instructor of the Year) and the popular ‘Hangar Talk’ with John Tenney that meets at the Orlando Executive Airport on the first Wednesday of each month.  After a couple of years, I began running into Obie Young and I found out about the Florida Aviation Network.  I quickly signed up with the Florida Aviation Network to volunteer and helped with technical equipment setup at the studio and remote sites and major events like the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo at Lakeland, Florida that occurs every April.  As a FAN Crew member, I helped Obie and the network with set up and social media at other major events like Verticon 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. The natural progression was to become a FAASAFETY Representative and so with the blessing of the late Ron Timmermans & Brent Moran I was recently accepted into the ranks.  I host a webinar every month along with co-host John Ledrew and Michael Triana.
